There are no different options for Ecodrift as all are unique. All products will be the same color and very similar in size.

Product Description

Ecodrift is selling driftwood trees. Driftwood trees are also meant to give an emotional connection to the McKenzie River Valley with local materials. These are decorative trees made out of driftwood. A 2 foot tall driftwood tree is designed to add a touch of nature to the indoors or your outdoor living space.

Materials

Each driftwood tree is made up of driftwood pieces collected from the McKenzie River. In each driftwood tree there is also a wood round. This is the base of the tree and is collected from the McKenzie River Valley. What holds everything together is a piece of rebar. This serves like a trunk of a tree.

Equipment

To make a driftwood tree there are a few pieces of equipment that you need. To cut the driftwood pieces to size you need a miter saw so that the tree looks even. You also need a drill bit and a drill press to make holes in the middle of each driftwood piece. You need one for the wood rounds as well. To cut the correct height you need an electric rotating saw. You need a sander as well because it is good to have all the wood nice and smooth.

Features

The main features of a driftwood tree is the driftwood. The driftwood is reclaimed from the McKenzie River as well as the wood rounds. The last feature is that the rebar is made of steel.

  • A: I am very into a lot of different activities which includes sports. Basketball is a super fun activity that is on the top of my list. I also enjoy running as well as traveling.

  • A: After high school I would like to go to college somewhere where I can experience a full college experience. I also want to travel abroad during school and see the world.
  • Q: What have you enjoyed the most about being a business owner?
  • A: Being a business owner is a blast, but the best part is working towards the end goal. It will all be worth it when Market Night is here.

  • A: I knew that I wanted to start a sustainable company when I started this class. I also thought about making driftwood trees because I used to do it as a kid, so I had experience making them.
