Product Description
Our product is a crocheted headband. The headbands are horizontally striped with the pattern of ‘Green, Yellow, Green’. The front of the headbands come together into a cross.
Materials
We need green and yellow yarn. The yarn we use is medium sized, and it is specifically acrylic yarn.
Equipment
We need crochet hooks, scissors, measuring tape, and a tapestry needle. The crochet hooks get most of the work done and rest of the equipment is used to tie off the ends of the yarn.

Our headbands are made with worsted yarn. They are a green and yellow striped pattern. And they are headband shaped.
Benefits
The pros to having worsted yarn are that it keeps our customers' ears warm without having an overly thick headband. The green and yellow yarn is a great way to show one’s McKenzie spirit. The headband shape allows one to cover their ears and can also be used to pull one’s hair back.
About the Owner
- Q: What are your interest and hobbies?
- A: I enjoy crocheting, kitting, drawing, and writing. I also enjoy working outside and learning about natural resources and just our environment in general. Another thing I really like is ancient Greek mythology, and ancient Greek history.
- Q: What are your future plans?
- A: One of my future goals is to go to college and study for forestry, specifically either the fire inspection field or the natural resources field. But I would also like to take some classes in creative writing, art, and possibly business. If I can not get into the forestry field then I will most likely go for some job in art and animation.
- Q: What have you enjoyed the most about being a business owner?
- A: My favorite part about being a business owner has been creating the business itself. Thinking about the product, the logo, the values and the slogan have all been very fun to me. And because of the product I chose to create, I also enjoy making the actual inventory for Market night.

- A: Our products have lower prices compared to other companies. Our products are also high quality and made specifically for the McKenzie area.
- Q: What was the inspiration for your business?
- A: We wanted to create something that could be used relatively anywhere at any time. We figured a piece of clothing fit that description, then we considered what most people do around this area and headbands made the most sense. They can be taken anywhere, and are good for outdoor work and play.
